I previously worked as an Administrative Assistant in the 2 big universities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for 12 years. I was working in Event Management Unit where we organize medical conferences, symposia, and workshops. I maintain a calendar of events aside from the day to day scheduled meetings of the committee. I communicate with invited local and international speakers. Coordinate with vendors for the event such as hotels, venues, airlines, printing materials and audiovisual needs for the event. I also prepare pre and post-event report which includes financial reports. I oversee the setup and the actual conduct of the event. Now I am looking forward to a new career in Virtual Assistant that I could continue or learn more experience in the virtual world.
