About

Hi, I’m Mariam. I am a Virtual Assistant with over 3 years experience mainly for healthcare professionals, founders, and startups who need someone dependable to keep things moving behind the scenes.

I started this journey over three years ago while I was still in medical school. At first, it was just small tasks—scheduling, research, inbox cleanup. But things grew quickly. I realized I had a knack for organizing chaos, spotting inefficiencies, and making systems work better. Eventually, I built a career around it.

Now, I support busy professionals—doctors balancing clinical work with private practices, startup founders juggling a dozen hats, and healthcare teams who just need someone who gets it without constant hand-holding.

I handle a wide range of tasks. Calendar and inbox management are core parts of my work, but that’s just the start. I also manage CRMs, handle patient intake forms or referral processes, document SOPs, prepare reports, and even do light social media or website updates when needed. For some clients, I’ve helped streamline operations from scratch—creating workflows, onboarding systems, automations—little things that save hours over time.

My background in healthcare makes a real difference. I’ve worked with HIPAA compliance, understand medical jargon, and know how crucial it is to maintain confidentiality and accuracy. If you're running a medical or wellness practice, you don’t need to explain everything—I already speak the language, so to speak.

But I also get the startup side of things. I’ve supported health tech founders, online clinics, solo practitioners launching digital products—you name it. I understand that sometimes the lines between personal and business blur, that growth can be messy, and that what you need today might change completely next week. I try to stay flexible, responsive, and above all—useful.

Tech-wise, I’m comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, Trello, Calendly, Airtable, Kajabi, WordPress, and a bunch of others I’ve probably forgotten to mention. I learn fast. If your system is a bit unconventional, I’m okay with that. We can figure it out together.

I’m detail-oriented (though not in a robotic way—I’ve made enough mistakes to know where to double-check), proactive, and quietly reliable. I won’t flood your inbox with updates, but you’ll notice the difference when things start to feel a little lighter.

Some days, I think of myself less as an assistant and more like a second brain—someone you can trust to catch what you’ve missed, tie up loose ends, and make sure the important stuff doesn’t fall through the cracks.

Anyway, that’s me. If you’re a healthcare professional, founder, or small team looking for steady, thoughtful support, I’d love to chat.
