Maria Sofologi

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Ioannina, Greece, and additional certifications in Psychology and Intercultural Education. Over the past four years, I have built a diverse professional background combining education, communication, and writing.

I have worked as a freelance creative writer and editor, producing content ranging from articles and blog posts to children’s literature and academic texts. I also have solid experience as a subtitle proofreader and editor, ensuring clarity and accuracy for international audiences.

In addition, I have worked as a Communication Manager and Virtual Assistant in Paris, where I managed guest relations for Airbnb in English, French, and Greek, both through written and phone communication. This role strengthened my organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to client needs.

As a language tutor, I have taught Greek and English to both children and adults, designing lessons to encourage critical thinking, writing skills, and confidence in communication. I continue to provide academic writing support to university students in philosophy, education, and social sciences.
