Maria Hernandez Caceres

I graduated in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with a major in Spanish, English and French. I specialized mainly in Audiovisual Translation but I can also handle other types of documents, such as technical translation or creative translation. Aditionally, I have been trained in computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, such as SDL Trados, Memsource, OmegaT, MemoQ, Wordfast. I'm at ease with current technologies.

In addition to my language skills, I have a particular aptitude for rapid learning. I'm at ease with human relations and always ready to take on new challenges.

I've also been exposed to a variety of professional contexts through internships, group projects and academic assignments. These experiences have enabled me to develop skills in communication, project management and teamwork. I also have a strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 

I also have a thorough knowledge of IT tools, such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite. I'm well-versed in social networks and always up to date with the latest news and updates. What's more, I have a youthful, creative approach, which I think could help boost your business. 

With nearly a year of experience as an in-person assistant, I am eager to bring my skills and dedication to a virtual role.
