My name is Mar June Sebio, and I am a graduate of Bachelor in Special Education, Major in Mental Retardation from West Visayas State University. My educational background taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and adaptability, which I have carried with me throughout my professional journey. In 2016, I began my career in the corporate world, where I have gained valuable experience across different industries, accounts, and roles.
I first worked as a Customer Service Representative at Startek International. In this role, I was trained to handle technical concerns, billing issues, and sales transactions. It was here that I developed strong communication skills, the ability to resolve problems efficiently, and the confidence to speak with different types of clients. This experience taught me how to manage pressure and deliver excellent customer service even in challenging situations.
I joined the HGS Group under the American Express account, where I worked as a Financial Coach. This role gave me exposure to the financial services industry and required me to provide accurate guidance to clients about managing their accounts. It also strengthened my analytical skills and improved my ability to explain complex financial processes in a simple and clear manner.
I then became a Medical Representative at Legato, working as a Provider Care Support Expert. This position introduced me to the medical and healthcare sector, where accuracy, compliance, and professionalism were crucial. I supported providers with their inquiries, assisted in claims and care processes, and ensured that every detail was correct. This experience built my credibility and made me more detail-oriented.
My longest tenure was with Asurion, where I worked for four years as a Sales and Technical Coach. This role allowed me not only to use my technical expertise but also to develop my leadership and mentoring skills. I guided team members, coached them on effective sales strategies, and helped them improve their technical knowledge. My time at Asurion strengthened my ability to motivate others, drive performance, and contribute to overall team success.
