I'm a rainmaker in FMCG (Consumer Goods) and FinTech, with a track record of four Business Turnarounds and the successful launch of over 100 product SKUs.
I currently work Solo as a Quant and Algorithmic Trading Builder. I have previous work experience as Vice President for two Packaged Foods Businesses with a total turnover of USD 45 million per year, for Olam International.
I have worked at FMCG majors SmithKline Beecham (now GSK), Gillette (now P&G) and Olam International, across a range of product Categories from Personal Care to Culinary and Biscuits.
In my first role at Gillette, I was a Planning and Promotion Manager and custodian of the Database of South India for Gillette. I created the first organized and comprehensive Sales Database for Gillette in India. I have also worked across several Brand Management and Business Management roles with deep exposure to media, market research and advertising in a numbers based environment.
I have also created mathematical models for forecasting Sales of products such as Gillette MACH3 and SensorExcel. These were the best forecasting models in the Gillette World. I have also done a lot of innovative and creative work in Business/Management and Marketing/Sales: One of my Consumer Promotions at Olam International became a Case Study and has been sought after by Business Schools.
My Credentials include a B.Tech in Engineering from IIT Madras, the top Engineering Institute in India and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, a World Top 50 B School. I'm also a silver medal winner in the National Talent Hunt for Maths in India.
I'm fully conversant with Excel and Powerpoints and have handled hundreds of Spreadsheets and Presentations, including some Excel files with 20+ interconnected sheets for Portfolio P&L Budgeting.
I'm a go getter and a perfectionist and a maths puzzle enthusiast. I'm concerned about the quality of my work, to a fault and I do not ever miss deadlines.
