Gosia and I went through the process of creating the mission of life and completed it a dozen months ago. I will not be very high-flying as I will say that the meetings with Gosia were for me the biggest change in my life, both professional and private. Everyone has their own... and the way, and the mission. Margaret invited me to explore it. Was I ready for this journey and the accompanying emotions and experiences? Certainly not. Who among us is ready to "change internally" and delve into ourselves, while our daily life itself is filled with a mass of sensations and intensity of action. This was further compounded by a lack of faith in the possibility of changing the current state of affairs and the words "certainly not yet at this point".
And yet, when the process started, I wanted to last as long as possible. Once upon a time, I wasn't so close to myself. Thanks to the proposed exercises, intriguing homework and often used metaphors, I believed in my potential and "regained" confidence in myself. Professionally, I introduced a large amount of peace and harmony to my work, while constantly presented dynamic form of task execution and cooperation with others. A new dimension has become known for "respect" not only for others, but also for oneself. I now learn to interpret the word "leader" every day, more often "stopping", listening and looking at others. The result of the process is a specific internal "signpost" indicating the next concrete steps that I am already taking when experiencing and traversing "my path".

We have gone down the path of my leadership together as head of department. Our (working group) was diverse in almost every way (unless the only link can be called passions for sustainable development, besides everything we had different). Many things surprised me, first of all, what I learned about myself and how I function at work, but also in everyday life. I had to name my weaknesses and answer the question of whether I really want them to keep limiting me, or whether I prefer to build on strengths. Leadership?! ...
it's a very good understanding and understanding of yourself. It is also continuous development, self-development, gaining confidence and, on the other hand, listening and drawing conclusions. But leadership is all about AUTHENTICITY and living in harmony with one another, respect for others, trust and understanding. The leader is a bit like a watchmaker. He needs to know the design of the clock and combine all the elements to create one common whole.
If the leader understands that people in a given group have to work together, despite many differences, have confidence in each other and have a chance to develop, then there is a chance of achieving a result, often above average.
I encourage you to reach for the book "Leader in sneakers". Małgosia writes with great lightness about her experience as a leader, but also about what transformation she has undergone. There are valuable tips for everyone.

Working with Margaret as part of my development, I had the opportunity to stop and detach myself from everyday duties, so as to explore my known and unknown talents. This time, full of reflection and self-knowledge, I would call it a great inner journey that has resulted in self-awareness.
