As a writer and academic, I have a well-rounded breadth of strengths. I love literature and poetry, and I can easily write in a flowery, meandering way, but after years of writing for academic institutions, I also know how to be authoritative, clear, and succinct when the moment calls. I can write engaging marketing campaigns, with language unique to your brand and ideas that will make your business shine, just as easily as I can construct a well-researched argument for a white paper or eBook. The bottom line: I love words and have a knack for turning them into what you need them to be.
I currently work as a freelance writer for a California-based start-up called TrueSelf. I also tutor English language and composition students where I live in Zurich. I hold a master's degree in psychology from Columbia University, and a bachelor's degree from New York University. In the past, I have worked in prisons, counseling centers, and non-profit environmental agencies. These experiences taught me how to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds at various levels of education. My areas of expertise include psychology & mental health, mindfulness, communication, relationship, and emotional intelligence. My passions (besides writing and psychology) include literature, natural science, mythology, anthropology, and neuroscience. I also love to cook, run, and be outside.
