I began my career as a General Virtual Assistant the moment I thought being a mom entails the need to give-up my dream of working full-time.I came into realization that Being a full time mom does not stop me from being a career woman. I have decided then that wherever you are is a good place to start.Being a work at home mom(WAHM) isn't for every woman. However, I've never regretted taking the plunge for a minute. I used to work in a Call Center for 4 years, in a cubicle. However, I craved a work life balance and deeply resented the time that work took away from my time with my family. So I quit my Call Center gig and became a WAHM, which you have to believe me when I say, isn't as easy as it sounds!
Being a work-at-home mom requires organization, patience, and the support of your family. Imagine having to juggle a full time workload at home while still acting as a hands-on parent.
Through the years, I gained training for Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Management, and Office Administration– the three core competencies for becoming a Virtual Assistant. From then on, I was hired by several companies.
