I have worked in a variety of roles in IT over the past 18 years. I have experience
from managing, architecting and rolling out systems for global FTSE 100 Company in
London as well as architecting systems and managing development teams using state
of the art technologies and Agile methodology.
I have a desire to work in a challenging IT environment. Have strong consulting and
people skills, excellent leadership and problem solving skills. Very creative and live
by the motto “Anything can be done”. Good communicator and team worker.
Experience Highlights
2019
Launched Meatco GO, mobile app that is integrated with live systems. Which has a
Java backend and Angular front end.
2017
Architecting, managing a development team to replace Meatco’s (Namibia’s largest
meat processor and exporter) 20 year old legacy systems. Development was done in
JAVA with Spring and Groovy in the backend.
2016
Architected a remotely located slaughtering system using Couch DB, Angular and
Docker.
2015 – Moved to Namibia
Started working at Meatco as IT Manager: System Development and Architecture
which involved process engineering, system architecting and laying the foundation to
start developing new systems that integrates with the IT landscape.
2014
Adapt the Financial system architecture to accommodate business units in South
America, Australia, South Africa and the far east from Hyperion Planning V11.1.2.3
to Hyperion Planning V11.1.2.2 to leverage the existing Oracle on Demand
environment and AWS the FTSE100 client already has.
2013
Performed as lead Financial Systems Architect in upgrading the full Hyperion suite to
V11.1.2.2, and moved it to Oracle on Demand, for a global FTSE100 Company.
2010
Implemented and project managed upgrade from System 9 to Hyperion V11.1.1.3 full
suite of Hyperion products.
2007

Re-designed the financial systems architecture for Anglo American to upgrade and
Hyperion System 9 upgrade to 9.3.13, and move to 4 global data centres that servers
the company globally.
2006
Planned, implemented and project managed the Hyperion upgrade project at Anglo
American, from HFM 3.5 to Hyperion System 9.
2005 – Moved to the UK
Support HFM 3.5 with high availability clustering and a public facing web front end.
2004
Did a full Windows 2003 migration, which resulted in a Microsoft case study.
2001
Started a software development company that developed internet ready software using
ASP and SQL.
2000
One of 17 delegates from Africa to be trained on Windows 2000, with the aim to train
MCSE’s in our home countries.

• Manage team of both in-house and outsourced developers
• Re-Designed systems architecture to replace 20 year old legacy systems, with
modern technology to address modern business needs. Using Java (Spring,
Groovy) and Angular front end.
• Launched mobile app that integrates with the newly developed systems to
make facilitate better interaction with the company.
• Managed the development of the new systems using Agile methodology.

and zero IT support. This was achieved using Couch DB (JASON), Angular
