My name is Lorena Garcia and I'm an English/Spanish native marketeer that's currently working in Dublin, Ireland for Oracle as a B2B Product Manager.
Here I'm part as a team of 4 (a writer, a technologist, a designer and myself), researching, analyzing, creating and storyboarding demo presentations for our Sales community to present to potential clients. We create stories for different applications within Oracle: HCM (human resources), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), SCM (supply chain), CX (customer experience - CRM and Marketing). My role in the team is mostly focused on the customer side of the spectrum - understanding the B2B customer we are presenting the solution to (through research, analysis and observation), making sure they relate to the WHY and storyboard how the solution should be demonstrated in order to resolve their pain points (storyboarding).
Previously I worked for Microsoft as a seller for our Cloud platform - Azure in the UK and Spanish market where at my first year in the company I was awarded Sales Development Specialist of the Year for FY18 and was the first Development Specialist globally to graduate in our Digital Seller programme by DIT (Dublin Institute of Technology). Aside from my daily tasks, I co-developed an improved, user-friendly lead management process to enhance customer/seller experience and obtain deeper customer insights by using multiple platforms, which was implemented across Microsoft's Western European Markets as a best practice and the US. I was also prized with a Hackathon leader badge for having came up, supervised and managed a B2B solution with a small team of engineers to help protect biodiversity and species from becoming extinct.
So far, my success lies in communicating effectively to different audiences in all sorts of ways. Whether it's through events, merchandising, project management, design, presentations, one-to-ones, B2B, B2C, sales, marketing, problem-solving, team work... I have proudly managed to inspire, help and transform individuals/organizations all around Europe, as well as help build businesses from scratch.
Having said that, my role in life, which is also reflected in my career and personal relationships, is to relate to situations, inspire and impact them in whichever way I can. This allows me also to grow personally and professionally due to all the learnings I encounter along the way. I'm naturally curious and embrace every situation, good or bad, as a learning experience that always acts in my favor.
Thank you so much for stopping by and looking forward to having a chat :)
All the best,
Lorena
