Education:
Undergraduate degree – Sports Management 2:1
Throughout my studies, I grew my skillset by mastering modules such as, sports marketing, commercial aspects of sport, international sports ownership and governance, leadership in practice, project management, sport enterprise and community, sport in society, business intelligence and strategic sports management. Within these modules I took on projects such as creating our own charity sporting event for comic relief which had to be a sport with a twist to it. Once we came up with an idea, we had to go through several planning processes to ensure our idea would be a success. We also had to go through a risk assessment which helped us discover any potential setbacks and issues with the project. After analysing every possible detail, we then begun to market, gain sponsorship, raise funds, and sell tickets for our event. Overall, it was a massive success as we managed to raise over £600 for comic relief.
A-Levels & GCSE’s
During my A-Levels, I achieved an A* in Creative Media Studies. Which included topics such as, research techniques for the creative media industry, pre-production techniques for the creative media industry, writing for content, TV, and video. Video, content and music production, film and video editing techniques, digital marketing, and digital data analysis. Throughout my whole time in education, I was always extremely passionate about sports, creative media, and business studies. I have always had a strong desire and dedicated my life to build a career tailored to what I am both passionate about, and talented in.
I also achieved 7 GCSE’S with one A* in Media Studies, 3 B’s in English Literature, English Language, and PE. And 3 C’s in Maths, Science, and business studies. These were achieved during a period of great sporting success, captaining the school football team to league and cup titles. As well as Club football and County football at a high level, this taught me great leadership properties, such as how to effectively motivate others and to strive for fairness and equality to help those around me reach their optimum. Growing up, I had a desire to try out multiple sports and competed in Basketball, Cricket, Golf, Boxing and Taekwondo.
