MVS Demand Officer
I was part of the Multi-Vendor Services (MVS) Business in Europe for Philips Hospitals & Health
Care. As the first touch point for the Market Customer Care Center (CCC) and Field Service
Engineers performing day-to-day sourcing activity for the MVS Delivery in Europe. My role was
to have the best price for the spare parts and the best quality for our customer. I worked with
the healthcare industry and I could impact people’s lives. I had the whole supply chain control
and I worked directly with Philips Field Service Engineers, suppliers, carriers, logistics, reverse
logistics and warehouses.
Tasks:
- Communicate with the Markets Field Service Engineers for receiving the daily demand for
MVS parts & services. Delivery management until FSE receives the part next day in his hands;
- Interact with worldwide MVS supplier networks to request quotations for the daily parts &
service needs and negotiate prices, conditions, lead time and delivery.
- Spare parts & Services PO creation, process deliveries, manage consignment stock in line with
the MVS ordering approval process and ICS/SOX guidelines, respecting the Customer SLA;
- Request new Material Master Data setup to central Master Data team internally within
Philips;
- Start-up escalations if the delivery terms are not in line with the Customer SLA. Communicate
action plans to the Market
- Monitor the daily parts ordering process in SAP R3: goods posting, consignment stock,
reverse logistics and supplier invoice payment and credit control;
- Follow and resolve any Supply issues following up with carriers, and keeping the marked
informed.
