Leani Shane Maratas

I am Leani Maratas and I am currently employed as a Virtual Assistant.

I have been working for 5 years now, since 2018 up until today. My first job was as an Executive Assistant at a local restaurant. The second was now as a Virtual Assistant in a BPO company (GoTeam). I specifically had 3 jobs as a VA under the company. To elaborate further, my second job was as a Data Researcher, where I gather leads from google and LinkedIn, for an events-specialized company. However, this was a project based job only for 3 months. The 3rd job I had was basically the same as the previous. I was a Data Acquisition Officer for an events-specialized company. I mainly gather leads form LinkedIn and Google and input the needed information to Salesforce. Unfortunately, when the pandemic hit, the account (events company) pulled out and my team and I were left as floaters. But not for long. The BPO Company, which I was still under, absorbed us as internal employees and gave us a position for 3 months as Lead Generation Officers. After the contract, I was hired into the account, which is different from my usual job. I am currently employed as a Virtual Assistant specifically as an Admin Support Specialist for a data and technology company, where I respond to customer emails and forward any application bugs and issues. I have been with the company since July 2020 to present.

With all the job positions that I have been, I have learned several things that would help me in my future endeavors. I have learned how to work smarter and manage my time efficiently. I have also developed the habit of making sure the job is done for the day and that the work for the next day are properly sorted, basically organization of tasks. And I look forward to develop more skills from the best companies and forward my learned skills to other companies, to become a big help for the company's success.
