SKILLS
●
Thrive on working with diverse groups of individuals and providers
●
Responsible for a significant amount of HR type details such as
auditing charts and potential negative outcomes are recognized and
reported in a chronological manner and given to HR to keep in case of
litigation, education opportunities for staff members and physicians.
●
Skillful and detail oriented with particular talent promoting talent and
mentoring others to ensure engagement and solid work ethics.
●
Transparent with peers and leadership as appropriate. Promote
change management well and ensure that the change process goes
seamlessly.
●
Took part in the hospital initiation of EPIC and OBIX. Streamlined the
teaching process for each department individually. With their feedback
on progress we were able to ensure a high quality system that worked
for them!
●
Ensuring that the billing process is working and they aren’t going to get
any surprises in the future because of this issue. If there’s any issues or
concerns iwhatsoever I would usually get a heads up or email with the
information and patient’s name. That kept me busy since at any given
time we might have two- six “potential “ cases . In OB that’s the nature
of the beast I’m afraid.
●
Excel at new challenges and change implementation. W in the hospital
setting with multiple departments included within the “service line “, Peds,
NICU, LDRP, and Gynecology change is happening all the time in a great
variety of ways.
●
Excellent listening skills, I have kept that as a priority goal since I can
remember because I believe it is the most important part of building trust and
relationships that show respect and integrity.
●
Always treat patients and families with respect and courtesy. I’m never too
busy to take the time to answer questions, calm fears when appropriate, and
demonstrate empathy for every individual situation.
●
Experienced leader in healthcare administration with proven exemplary
results in employee relations, operations and engagement
●
Skilled at working with and auditing many office applications; EPIC, EHR,
Meditech, Citrix, OBIX, ADP, and all Microsoft office applications
●
Proactive with quality initiatives, safety compliance and risk management
EXPERIENCE
Family Health Centers , Fort Myers, Florida Director of Women’s
Health Operations P
romoted to Assistant Vice President Women’s
Health Operations 2016
●
Accomplished a great many things in this role; initiated new policies
and updated old ones, implemented a great billing process which
enabled the physicians to b involved with the patient care target than
stuck trying to figure out codes and documentation requirements.
●
This initiative also brought in a significant amount of revenue that
wasn’t being captured previously. Hardwired the basics with providers
and staff to ensure quality and accuracy.
●
Promoted the cross training of approximately 60% of staff members to
work in other areas to ensure company coverage and promoted
employee satisfaction.
●
Meto is the primary reason for the results that I have received from my
previous work efforts. Putting the brains of the operations to work
doing what they like, are good at, and allow them the freedom to do
that job knowing they have the support if needed but not
micromanaged.
