I have gained most of my customer service experience while I was employed with Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. The two years I spent with Riverside gave me the extra customer service experience and push that I needed to be able to succeed with any company I would work with in the future. As a Patient Access Representative, I wore many hats during my time with Riverside. I was sometimes a mediator for family members that lost a loved one, I was the lady that brought people snacks and drinks, I was the lady that took their personal information and made them feel comfortable while doing it, I was sometimes the person that annoyed and interrupted their day with my questions but always seemed to turn it around and get a smile out of them before my visit was over, I was also the person that was often a listening ear for someone's personal life or their low points in life. I was everything in one. Most importantly, I was the person that always did their job effectively and in a timely and professional manner.
