Kerry Hammerton

Kerry Hammerton has a Post-Gradutate diploma in Human Resource Management and an MA in Creative Writing with Distinction from Rhodes University. She has over twenty years of corporate experience in a number of corporate roles such as project manager, change consultant, coach and facilitator, and learning and development consultant. She has been responsible for various levels of communication, writing and facilitation for a wide range of clients, including those in the public sector, retail and the oil industry. Her published works include Sugar Free (_co-authored self-help book), and These are the Lies I told you, The Weather Report and Secret Keeper (three collections of poetry). Her work has appeared in numerous anthologies and journals, including a short story in the Short Sharp Stories Trade Secret anthology (2017). In addition Kerry blogged for Mslexia magazine (UK) where she wrote about women writers in South Africa and covered the Franschhoek Literary Festival. Kerry Hammerton is also a qualified coach with Leadership Embodiment international.
