I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science with minor in Business Administration from The American University in Cairo. I got a scholarship under the name " Leadership Education and Development". Through this scholarship, they were training us on how to be leaders, so we took excessive numbers of personality, communication and leadership skills training through my 5 years at university.
Then I have completed my military service. Right after, I worked as a software developer for almost 2 years. Asset Technology Group was the name of the company I worked at. We had many projects as they were outsourcing our companies from Vodafone and Orange to complete their different projects. It was very vast environment, where we had to learn new technologies always and implement them in these projects that were assigned to us.
I relocated to the states afterwards. I worked other jobs in the hospitality field. I started as a manager in south beach! Then I worked as a general manager in a small startup company that install and sells security systems (camera, alarms) to businesses and residential units. I even outsourced a team from Egypt to work with us as direct sales.
Then I worked as an account executive for Novathreads, and right now I am working as an operations coordinator at the American Institute of Aesthetic Medicine. My day to day job includes organizing classes/events, negotiating contracts for host locations, travelling to asset in these classes and in trade-shows as well, shipping, controlling inventory, sales, marketing. Basically, AIAM was part of Novathreads but they separated the two companies. That is why now AIAM is a small company where I have room to do many tasks. At AIAM, we have trainers all over the states who travel to train other doctors and nurses on an Aesthetic procedure called PDO threads.
So I believe with my background and my experience now I would make a very good fit for the position. I am very happy with my job right now but I am looking forward to grow in my career financially and to gain more experience!
So please have a look at my resume and let me know if you have any questions. I would love to hear back from you and to start a career with you guys where I can learn new technologies and keep building my experience.
