For the past 14 years, I have acquired vast work experience involving client and vendor relationship development, proficiency in account management, and a skillful understanding of event planning. After spending three years in IT sales, I gained an excellent comprehension of business strategy and client expansion. After I moved on to the hospitality industry, I was able to fine-tune my relationship-building skills at The Ritz-Carlton, a company whose foundation rests on its approach of creating “clients for life” through the employees’ ability to go above and beyond for their guests. For 9.5 years, I worked for a government contractor as the sole event planner for the company. I planned over 250 off-site conferences, as well as countless on-site meetings in the office meeting spaces. This type of event coordination involves extreme attention to detail, intense organizational and multitasking skills, and the ability to be creative and efficient in a variety of situations.
