’m Karren Thandiwe Bwalya, a detail-oriented and compassionate professional with a background in medicine and a growing career as a remote virtual assistant. I bring a unique combination of clinical training, administrative expertise, and tech-savviness to every role I take on. Having worked in high-pressure healthcare settings and fast-paced virtual environments, I’m skilled at handling complex tasks with accuracy, discretion, and efficiency.

My journey began in medical school, where I completed rotations in internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology. During that time, I developed strong skills in documentation, communication, and patient coordination—skills that transitioned seamlessly into my work as a virtual assistant. I’ve since supported professionals and small businesses with calendar management, email handling, research, Canva design, Trello workflows, data entry, and more.

In addition to my administrative abilities, I’m highly adaptable to different time zones and work cultures. I’ve collaborated with teams across the globe and pride myself on my strong internet reliability, excellent English communication, and proactive attitude. My goal is to become a trusted “right hand” who brings order, clarity, and value to your daily operations.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about healthcare access, research, and innovation. I’m currently involved in global health initiatives, including telemedicine support and research presentations, which keep me connected to my roots in healthcare while enhancing my ability to assist others in meaningful ways.

I’m now seeking a remote role that allows me to support entrepreneurs, startups, or health professionals in growing their vision—while offering the structure, trust, and flexibility I value most.
