KARIN HANSEN
I was born in South Africa (1956) to Swiss and Dutch parents, started school in Switzerland, completed
schooling in South Africa and married in 1994. I have one daughter aged 29.
I was widowed in June 2022 and stopped working fulltime in 2023. I was living in Plettenberg Bay for thirty
years, but am now living with relatives in Durbanville, Western Cape.
I am a Christian and in good health. I enjoy hiking, history, art and nature. Besides English, I speak
German, Dutch, Afrikaans and Swiss.
I pride myself on my integrity and my attention to detail, as well as my excellent problem solving and
analytical skills.
