I believe that my education and work experience which has taught me the importance of exceptional customer service skills, as well as how to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life. When I worked at Digitel Telecommunications , as a Customer Service Representative, I was able to use these skills every day. My role entailed speaking with customers who needed help with their order or payment status. I was also responsible for answering inbound calls from customers who needed help finding the right product for their needs or had questions about our products and services. We were often understaffed, so I had to work quickly and efficiently to get the job done and always maintain a positive attitude despite the stress and tight deadlines.
In addition to customer care responsibilities, I also handled returns, refunds and exchanges. This involved processing refunds and credits to ensure our customers received what they paid for or wanted. It also entailed working closely with our vendors or manufacturers to properly process any items that were damaged or defective upon arrival.
