About

My name is Kabuuka Catherine. I am a Ugandan woman who is passionate about life itself and everything I have the opportunity to do as I keep living. I attained a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Makerere University, the 5th best University in Africa according to Times Higher Education report, 2019; and the best in East, Central, and West of Africa. The education attained positioned me in the market as a project manager and construction site administrator. For three years and as a professional now, I have been actively taking part in the construction of both residential and commercial buildings; complex and simple alike.

Back in High School, I excelled in English and Literature and I was very passionate about these subjects. Along the way, after my graduation, I decided to take up this love in the form of writing, editing, and proofreading. I have been writing for a year and a half doing remote, home-based projects that involve writing business plans for startup companies inclusive of deep research, financial analysis, and project plans, writing website and blog content and then landed my first part-time writing gig with Writer's Hub, a United States-based online academic service that has equipped me with deeper skills on writing original content through thorough research, great proofreading and editing skills as well. I have written papers, dissertations and generally content in the fields of Arts, Literature, English, Music, Biology, Architecture, Information technology, Project Management, Human resources, Sociology and Business. I enjoy writing because it is gives me the opportunity to express myself and also read extensively and learn so much more. I deliver on time and I am very reliable, I also learn really fast and I am a very jolly person and I honestly love to work.

I am also involved in mentoring adolescent girls in my country under a program called Girls Empowering Girls to help them face all their challenges and encourage them to keep in school. I teach them the value of education and help them overcome common issues like poverty, teenage pregnancies, sexual, mental and emotional abuse, poor health and hygiene and any problem that could be faced along the way in our journey to helping them finish school. I guess there is no feeling that beats seeing a life made better because you came and gave a helping hand. I hope to be a Philanthropist one day and solve some of the world problems. In my free time, I love to read, to sing, to dance, go swimming, sleep and snack.

But I am here typically as a writer, editor, proofreader, and mentor plus a project manager. So many people frequently ask me how I manage to do all these and well, I am a planner who plans her time adequately and delivers the best results at all times. I do everything with my heart involved and I give it my all. That is my trademark. I know we shall have a good time working together. I usually ask a lot of questions to be sure I am doing the right thing for my client. I want us both happy at the end of the day. I can't wait to work with you! Thank you!
