I am a retired CPA. I enjoy working with Quickbooks Online, especially setup or cleanup. I do my set-ups so the client will have a minimal amount of work on the setups unless a change in the business occurs. Setups include the chart of accounts invoicing, payroll, receivables, accounts payable and taxes including sales tax, payroll taxes and any miscellaneous local taxes. In QB Online there are many tools to improve cash flow. Also, streamlining the business owners accounting books can save them time and money and allow the business owner more time to concentrate on growing the business.

More about me! I was a CPA for over 30 years. I have 10 years as a public accountant that concentrated in the automotive business. I made a partner in the firm but got tired of travelling so I went to work for an auto dealer. We had 7 dealerships in the Carolinas with over 750 employees and I was in charge of six accounting offices as well as management offices and ancillary businesses of the owners.

I also have extensive use of MS Excel for importing transactions into Quickbooks as well as exporting reports for analysis. I have used Excel for over 20 years for budgeting & forecasting.

I help successful small business owners with cleaning up their Quickbooks files for their CPAs, which relieves stress. This is done by balancing their books, which gives them peace of mind that they will avoid trouble with the IRS.

I am currently in retirement but want to work as an Accountant/Bookkeeper.
