Hi! I'm Jordanne "Dane" Maximo. Former Hapiness Engineer in Automattic Inc., the parent company of WordPress, WooCommerce, Gravatar, Tumblr, and a lot more!

Currently, a Freelance Technical Customer Support Specialist and a Web Developer.

I’ve been collaborating with different clients and companies across the globe since 2016. Clients include Snapps Inc., Oscar Wylee Ltd., Player FM, Action Sports Australia, and more!

Before I became a Freelancer, I worked as a Customer Support Specialist in one of the prestigious BPO companies here in the Philippines. I handled different accounts such as Healthcare, Banking, and Finance, Telecommunication, Cable TV, Billing, and Sales (inbound and outbound). I worked with the company for 5 years.

In 2016, I got my first home-based job as a Technical Support Manager in Player FM ( a podcast app with a 4.5-star rating in Google Playstore). I provided technical assistance to app users through the Ticketing System (Freshdesk), responded to review and feedback in Google Playstore via Google Play Developer Console, and answered comments in a forum using Google+.

Not only I do Technical Support, I also do Website Design and Development, this is why in the year 2020, I started to work with Automattic Inc., in which I provided technical support to WordPress.com users. This requires me to be proficient in using WordPress platform, assist WordPress users with their domain and WordPress Plan subscriptions, provide CSS/HTML codes for site and theme customization, guided them in building and designing their sites, and offered other solutions if the user wants to cancel their plan. We used Zendesk and their internal tool for Live chat.

• Video Editing (Power Director, Da Vinci Resolved, Camtasia)

• Website Design and Development ( WordPress, Snapps, Duda, Magento and Shopify)
