My PM role held full responsibility working at strategic level to provide business continuity of emergency services, resource management, managing impacts whilst relocation of all services, resources and staff to fall back DR site, migration of technology and then return to core site. Benefits delivered were real time testing of core ICT failover infrastructure to emergency call management. Leading concurrent refresh activities and resources such as changeover of critical electrical circuits, replacement UPS, new chillers and electrical control panels. All delivered within 48hrs, safe and secure continuous concurrent detailed planning with no outages. As a result, I delivered a CNI asset with the benefits of effective tested failover capability and resilient infrastructure to support national critical services. Planned delivery of custodial security systems infrastructure refresh, I advised on strategic direction and technical CLD design for a fault resilient infrastructure to provide 100% uptime utilizing virtualization and replication (Veeam). I led Business Justification for funding to the Police and Crime commissioner’s office who granted funding to undertake the project. Responsible for lifecycle planning, financial forecasting, and procurement for Hampshire Constabulary’s technical security infrastructure, offering strategic direction on custodial systems and asset management. Technical delivery manager to upgrade the force wide access control platform and field hardware to a new supported system. Development of performance specifications, procurement of suppliers, and implementation planning. I was pivotal in negotiations with in-house ICT to provide hosted environments to support new platform and migrate sensitive data to a new database schema with no loss or corruption, including additional capacity for growth rates. I managed the UAT, sign off with senior users and reviewed the supporting processes, support functions and post project issues. I had recognised significant benefits of an upgrade path to extend the lifecycle of existing hardware, optimising return on investment from its existing technology infrastructure. Commissioned by the Assistant Chief Constable to lead the response to urgent, high-risk priorities by delivering a rapid programme of works involving the planned shutdown and electrical testing of 11 police locations.
