Below are my Operations Experiences.
1. Production Planner in Lear Corporation
Analyze and review master production schedule based on customer release and
ensure the customer requirements are supported. Analyze/review forecast releases
against inventory and ensure on-time delivery to customers to avoid air shipment and
customer shutdown. Analyze drastic changes in the releases, which greatly affect plant
load such as line shutdown or adding manpower/ equipment. Initiates meeting with
the operations department such as the materials, quality and plant coordinator to
draw action plans. Lead the group in conducting the tool book meetings and
communicate meetings to CFT team to update any new issues regarding new parts,
engineering changes, Plant transfer, balance out and new builds. Ensure compliance to
production schedules to support 100% on time delivery. Develop and Provide monthly
standard hours and finished good concerns that affects (quality issues, raw materials
delivery problem, line capacity problem, carrier delays) customer issues. Responsible in
maintaining highest level of integrity in its business dealings with Associates, people and
organizations wherever we operate to its highest ethical standards.
2. Customer Carrier Process Manager in Trax Technologies Asia Inc.
Provide comprehensive reports such as Reconciliation Reports, Monthly Business
Reports and Quarterly Business Reports to clients and carriers. Provide appropriate
and accurate responses to carriers and clients’ request, questions and concerns
regarding freight payment services. Meet quality, productivity, schedule adherence,
performance and standards. Apply technical knowledge and procedures when serving
carrier queries. Responsible for meeting outlined performances, goals and targets.
Provide clients web sites, policies, procedures, and any backend systems they may use
for email, products, shipping, and/or back order information. Communicate effectively
and efficiently with internal and external clients and customers. Manage an account
with the use of the tools for audit payments ( data, quality, rating and cost allocation )
to ensure on-time payments of freight services.
3. NCR Cebu Development Center Inc. ( Cebu, Philippines )
A. Resource Coordinator
Support the activities of the Project Schedulers (PS) and Implementation
Coordinators (IC) assigned to projects within a particular geographic region or
territory; Plan, prioritize, assign, and monitor all activities for CE's, ensuring the
prompt delivery of service to meet our contractual terms and conditions. Responsible
for meeting project requirements with regards to updating Quick base (or similar)
database or report generation requirement. Ensure that the project level activities
are scheduled within standard process time frames. Assume responsibility and
accountability for the Team by ensuring coverage, productivity/efficiency, and quality
of service. Provide leadership and guidance and support to the Team, address it’s
needs and concerns, performance, motivation and conflict. Conduct in scheduled
meetings with key team members to review project feedback, tasks, action items and
lessons learned. Ability to analyze data provided by existing data tool such as GLO,
D1, zip to zone codes and Map point.
B. Project Scheduler Team Lead
Oversees the daily activity of the project schedulers ( 15 members ). Use and
maintain Project Management Tools and Skills as part of responsibilities. Responsible
for the proactive planning of project activity; ensuring that all available resources are
effectively utilized and predefined service levels are consistently achieved.
Maintaining effective and timely communication with Customer Engineers (CE) and
Project Manager (PM) with regards to updates or escalations making sure is done
real-time. Providing a central point of communication for the project. Able to quickly
determine next steps in problem resolution process, including customer notification,
updating, relationship managing, and escalation Develop a complete understanding
of the project processes. Recognize, document implement process/project
improvements.
C. Business Operations Analyst
Financial Reporting/ Management and Orderability Support. Manage tagging of
revenue for the channel. Review customer numbers to ensure tagged as channel.
Running EDW as well as XXX reports on a monthly basis to report channel services r
revenue. Working through off line feeds of revenue from: non-EDW countries, parts
systems (US, Europe) among other systems to provide cohesive and consistent
reporting. When on boarding a new partner and as NCR’s service system tools
improve support Channel Account Manager in ordering of NCR services including
diagnostics) to ensure proper entitlement and revenue flow. Develop and run
schedule reports on diagnostic and parts purchases by partner. This is supplied to the
Global Channel Services team and the Channel Account Manager to ensure Channel
Service contract compliance with the partner. As in ordering perform some billing
processes that could include diagnostics and managed services where other NCR
systems do not cover the partner. In time this portion of the role should lessen.
Generate EDW query & perform audit review of service performance on an ad hoc
basis for a defined partner. Perform analysis required to identify missed revenue and
billing opportunities, and work with Region Channel Services field manager to rectify.
4. Operations Manager in Shipguide Corporation
Identify and implement functional process improvement and standardization
projects across all Client Org business units. Facilitate engagements with partners from
Product, Network Service, Access & Awareness, etc. related to management of crossdivisional dependencies. Formulate and implement over-all strategic plan that guides
the direction of the business. Overseeing the complete operation of an organization in
accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans. Work with product
managers and project teams to ensure internal project process are in place prior to
general release of the product deployment. Plan and direct the organization’s activities
to achieve stated/agreed targets and standards for financial and trading performance,
quality, culture and legislative adherence. Identify areas of opportunity and implement
programs aimed at increasing Client Org contribution margin and expense-related
Partner with executive-level stakeholders to identify, plan for and execute on areas of
Client Org operational performance improvement. Establish and lead a cross-functional
teams among affected implementation Boarding departments. Project management
activities including planning, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, execution, and reporting
and managing an organization sufficient to accomplish the organizational
responsibilities and the strategic plan of the business.To initiate and develop corporate
objectives and policies and formulate long range projects, plans and programs for the
approval of the Board of Directors, including those for executive training, development
and compensation.
