Internal Audit Manager for a $6B Senior, Assisted Living and Ancillary Services Company

• Promoted 4 times in 13 years to increasing responsibility at the supervisory and managerial levels. Presentations to senior executives, senior level management and the auditee to deliver audit scope, fieldwork, findings and recommendations.  

• Assisted with the development and inception of the Corporate Compliance Program in 1998 to sustain the growth and integrity within the Company. 

• Conducted financial, operational, SOX and compliance audits across all business units. Performed and managed extensive service audits of physician & rehabilitation services, pharmacy inventory, durable medical equipment and other ancillaries. This included numerous compliance reviews to confirm violations of the company’s legal and behavioral standards.  

• Led a team of 1-4 staff auditors conducting wage & hour, Medicare, and Medicaid review audits. Identified $150k in excessive salary expense.
