John Barrett

My name is John and I'm from Ireland. I have worked in admin, finance and retail management for over 10 years. I completed a degree in Tourism Management in the Dublin Institute of Technology in Cathal Brugha Street and I achieved a 2.1 (Upper Merit).

I have worked in management positions and this has given me the skills in communicating with people and more importantly building relations with colleagues and different business representatives.

I do admin and accounts using Tableau and Microsoft Excel in my current job as a manager in a busy tourist shop and for the other businesses my boss owns. In my previous job as a credit controller I was responsible for 60 clients and had to work to strict deadlines. Working in finance in a goal orientated environment has made me strategic in terms of how I manage my time and prioritise the daily tasks I need to complete.
