Wrote a number of Ruby on Rails, Java Spring, Node.js, and Scala solutions for various clients.
● Ruby on Rails apps persist to a MySQL or PostgreSQL, which runs on AWS or Heroku.
Invariably, there is a Redis for a RAM cache. Most of these solutions are fronted with
Nginx and leverage Passenger or Unicorn. If media is required, then S3/CloudFront.
● Java Spring solutions typically leverage Spring Boot. Make use of Hibernate to
communicate with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
● On Heroku, the Node.js solutions will communicate with a mlab MongoDB for storage,
leverage a Redis Cloud for a RAM cache, and Papertrail for logging.
● Certified DataStax Partner – Provide assistance to DataStax clients on DSE and Apache
Spark. For these solutions, I’ll typically architect, develop, operate, and troubleshoot
enterprise deployments of DataStax. These solutions are typically written in Java or Scala.
