Hi I'm Mariz, I am now transitioning to being a virtual assistant as I realized that this profession offers a broad opportunity for career growth. My 8 years of collective corporate experience has prepared me in different professional aspects and has helped me become really well-rounded.
I'm a graduate of BS Mathematics and has 8 years of work experience w/c includes Executive Assistant-EVP Merchandising, Project Management-Contract Research Organization, Customer Service & Sales-BPO, Collection & Account Management-Real Estate and Administrative-Functional Medicine.
In all these fields I have learned 5 valuable work attitude that I carried with me since, first is to have integrity, without this your words and work will be meaningless. Second is initiative, do what you can and then do more. Third be customer oriented, which ever industry or department you may be in a company's business is always centered with customers and their satisfaction. Fourth be resourceful, do not rely what you know, lots of things I know now I learned when I start to ask myself how and then I take advantage of the internet and if that's not enough I am not afraid to ask others who I know have had the same or maybe similar scenario. And last be excellent in what you do, so your time an effort is not wasted make sure to always do it right.
