In my first job at Global E-Business Outsource Inc., I transcribed US-based voicemail messages and wrote curated content for an American search engine. After that, I worked as an essay writing tutor for the Korea-based educational services company Chung Dahm. Here, I checked for grammar and style errors in English essays written by Koreans. After my stint here, I applied for a job as a customer service representative at Stellar Philippines Inc. This company served Australian travel clients who wanted to manage their hotel bookings online. In my work at Stellar, I received calls, managed bookings through a website, and corresponded by email with both clients and hotel partners. I eventually left Stellar to pursue my bachelor's degree while working as a student assistant at the library of Saint Bridget College, my alma mater. After graduating I worked at Australian media intelligence firm Isentia both as a broadcast monitor and search specialist. A broadcast monitor encodes summaries of Australian TV and radio broadcasts. A search specialist, on the other hand, makes use of Boolean logic and information management software to provide clients with news and summaries that are in line with their needs. The COVID-19 pandemic came after this, which influenced my decision to take contractual and work from home jobs. I became a home-based and freelance data transcriber, research analyst, course content writer and travel content writer in the period between March 2020 and the present.
Outside working hours, I love to write poetry and philosophical essays. I also enjoy taking artistic pictures of natural settings and beautiful landmarks. Visiting museums and churches, cycling and walking are also favorite pastimes of mine.
