PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
InterestCurve Global Consulting, Founding Partner, September 2013 – Present. Provide
fundraising, grant writing, digital communications, monitoring and evaluation, and strategic
development services to NPOs, NGOs, CBOs and social enterprises that have successfully connected
over millions in funds to organizations world-wide. Client projects include:
• Somali Bantu Association of America, California, USA – Provided ongoing research,
grantwriting, fundraising, and monitoring and evaluation services to this grass-roots organization
that serves 8,000 disadvantaged refugees each year. In first year alone, successfully secured over
$280,000 in grant funding and funds raised for programs and organizational development,
opening up over $400,000 in non-competitive grant opportunities for future years.
• Pratthanadee Foundation, Bangkok, Thailand – Facilitated the organization in identifying
numerous new funding opportunities, developing a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the
organization, and executing an end of year campaign.
• Georgie Badiel Foundation, Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso – Developed proposal templates
showcasing the organization’s woman-focused water and sanitation program in rural villages of
Burkina Faso so that the organization could receive the funding to take its work to scale.
• Nile Sisters Development Initiative, California, USA – Provided ongoing grantwriting services to
this organization that focuses on providing services to refugee and immigrant women in San
Diego County, California. Efforts have secured over $1.4 million in funds for the organization.
• Asia Justice Marathon, Chiang Mai, Thailand – Successfully developed a multi-dimensional
outreach and fundraising strategy that resulted in increased race attendance and secured
thousands in fundraising dollars to support access to justice activities across Southeast Asia.
• Dolls for Daughters and Kenzi’s Kidz, Colorado, USA – Provided ongoing grant and report
writing services that secured nearly $80,000 in funds for the organization.

Craig Hospital Foundation, Grants & Donor Relations Officer, Dec. 2010 – Feb. 2014.
• Developed grant proposals of $10,000 to $2 million to support the hospital’s programs and
capital campaign, successfully securing $2.9 million.
• Cultivated and secured major gifts of $10,000 or more from prospects, with the focus of
supporting the hospital’s capital campaign, which resulted in $3.2 million raised.
• Initiated and managed a 50-person group of up-and-coming professionals who raised $29,000 in
support of patient assistance and hospital programs.
• Served on a five-member major gifts management team charged with raising $90 million for a
capital expansion project.

• Served on a five-member review panel charged with evaluating matched-savings projects

sources, and a 100% success rate for securing highly competitive grant funds from federal
sources exceeding $100,000 each.
• Overhauled the organization’s marketing strategy, and created an effective branding for the
organization utilizing new technologies and expanding brand visibility.
• Created and executed a targeted fundraising initiativeto expand the organization’s
discretionary funds.
