Dear Hiring Manager

My name is Jeffrey Albert R. Fanoga, I sent this letter to express my intention in applying for a job at your reputable company. I am currently employed as Human Resource Manager for a consigning company for SM Ace Hardware store. I have been with my current employer for almost 5 years now. However, I have been contemplating for the past few months of leaving my current employment because of lack of career growth, and also wanting to shift career. I hope to find a career in your reputable company that would suit my qualifications and skill sets, even if it is not related to with my current position. I have extensive knowledge and experience in handling labor related issues of the company. I studied law which is my main advantage, why rose up to my current designation. Aside from my knowledge of the law, I even went to the extent of attending seminar which covers labor standards and labor relations. I also attended a seminar on handling administrative cases to further enhance my knowledge. Currently, I updated myself with regards to the latest SSS benefit training. Aside from trainings relevant to Human Resources, I took up certification courses that can improve me personally and professionally. I also have extensive experience in workforce management, and employer- employee dispute arbitration and resolution, which saved the company from costly labor suits.

My everyday task includes company operation oversight and workforce management. I am also a key person when it comes to the decision-making processes of the management as a whole. Below are the highlights of my career as a Human Resource Manager:

●    Revised the company the policy to be more adaptive to the evolving economic land scape of the economy.

●    Standardized the company’s promotion scheme and the necessary skills and educational attainment for the eligible employee.

●    The only person who introduced overseas market sourcing (Alibaba) of raw materials for the company, which brought down the company expenditure by 50%.

●    Institutionalize the current alternative working scheme for the company to save cost due to the pandemic.

●    Preserved the employment of the workforce by institutionalizing the above stated work scheme.

●    Entrusted by the Director of operations to act as an alter ego in his absence.

●    Works directly and collaboratively with the Head of SM Human Resources in the compliance of our companies with labor laws. Also, work alongside her to resolve issues regarding erring employees and other employee or store concerns. I am also tasked in Maintaining Service Level Agreements with the consignee company.

●    Worked with the company’s legal department in the interpretation (statutory construction) of labor advisories issued by the Department of Labor and Employment.

●     Being also the company’s safety officer. I spearheaded the seminar regarding Covid-19 and devised the safety protocol for the prevention of the spread of the Covid-19 within the company. I am also in charge of the company’s occupational safety and health standards. I regularly conduct health seminars.

My above stated career highlights are just some of the things I have achieved and accomplish in the company in the span of almost 5 years. But these highlights, and I can dare say are the ones that created a huge impact for the company and its’ employees.
