Jeffarson Dolot Ducay

I graduated with a degree in Accountancy from the University of Makati in 2021, where I built a solid foundation in financial management, auditing, and accounting principles. While in college, I began my career in customer service to gain work experience and support my studies. For two years, I worked in call support for Sprint, assisting customers with billing inquiries, technical concerns, and telecommunications issues. I also provided email support for Wish.com, helping customers with delivery tracking and resolving order-related concerns. These experiences, though outside my field of study, developed my communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, while also teaching me how to perform effectively under pressure.

After graduation, I pursued the profession I had prepared for and joined PwC as an auditor. Over two years, I gained end-to-end audit experience for clients in the health industry, from planning and risk assessment to substantive testing and final deliverables. I collaborated closely with seniors and managers, and I also acted as a direct contact for U.S. counterparts. Additionally, I was entrusted to lead and guide associates, which enhanced my leadership skills and ability to manage people and tasks efficiently.

I later advanced my career with Forvis Mazars US, focusing on employee benefit plan (EBP) audits, including 401(k), 403(b), and profit-sharing plans. In this role, I handled audits from planning to completion, while working with partners, directors, and managers. I was promoted to in-charge auditor, where I successfully managed multiple engagements at once and was consistently praised for delivering high-quality results.

Overall, my career journey reflects adaptability, growth, and continuous learning. Beginning with customer service, I strengthened my interpersonal skills, then advanced into auditing where I built technical expertise and leadership experience. With a combined four years in external audit and two years in customer service, I bring both people-oriented and technical skills that enable me to thrive in complex, high-pressure environments. I am confident that my education, diverse experience, and commitment to quality position me as a strong contributor to any organization I join.
