I’m Jason Moon, a videographer and film maker who’s passionate about visual story telling. I have a deep understanding of all aspects of visual communication and professional experience and ability to put work with a diverse range of people.
My past work experiences include hosting a lifestyle television show, producing spoken features for radio New Zealand, and most recently directing and filming an independent surf documentary.
“Oney Anwar, Chasing the Dream” won the People’s Choice Award with its premiere at the Santa Cruz Surf Film Festival.
From interviewing everyone from the Dalai Lama to Sir Edmond Hillary, I’ve develop an ear and an eye for finding the unifying human experience and emotion.
Based in Asia, I enjoy being able to work with many people in the Yoga and Wellness community, regularly supporting them in developing their online presence. I also regularly support community events including:
· Directing and producing marketing for the BaliSpirit Festival (an annual celebration of world music, yoga and dance)
· Instructional and marketing materials for international yoga teachers and wellness facilitators.
Working one-on-one with people and helping them to develop their vision is an part of the job truly enjoy. It’s about being able to interpret peoples message in their chosen path, in a visceral way. It’s something developed from working as a reporter in television and radio.
Living between New Zealand and Bali I’m continuously explore creatively, consciously and collaboratively with incredible visual artists, producers and teachers. These beautiful islands also provide me with an inspiring backdrop to start each day on the yoga mat or in the waves.
