Hi my name is Janis Teodones, I am 34 years old residing in Caloocan City, Philippines. I took Communication Arts in college and graduated May of 2004 from AMA Computer University. A month after graduation, I started working at a BPO company and has been working since then for 13 years now. I started off being a customer service agent for a directory assistance account at INFONXX now known as KGB. I was with them for 3 years and then I transferred to TELETECH and become a technical support representative for 9 months. Then another opportunity knocked my door from JP Morgan Chase Bank which I took and embraced the role of Fraud analyst. After being promoted to the highest analyst level, I got advanced to Team Leader in 2013. Then in April 2015, I transferred to ANZ Global Services where I continue working as a Team Leader for Fraud Operations.
As a Team Leader, I handle a team and manage their work performance and career development. Aside from managing people, I also do admin tasks, real time work monitoring, quality check and customer service all at the same time. I also specialized in MS office, communication skills both written and oral. I deal not only with my direct reports but also exposed in dealing with higher management team and its stakeholders.
I am enjoying my job however I also need to balance work with my family obligations. I’d like to be more practical in providing for my family and at the same time being there for my kids as they grow up. That’s when I decided to apply for a home-based work.
Having said that, I am looking forward to be working with an online company who will be able to meet my goal of achieving my career aspirations in balanced with personal life.
