My first work experience placement was in a Business Processing Outsourcing as a technical support representative. Although it was a business outsourcing company, the environment was office-like. In the B.P.O industry, there are about 900 people employed there, but I only worked with a team consisting of 30 employees.
In my line of business, I had given a range of tasks which included simple things like email support to more challenging tasks such as answering questions, analyzing problems, and quickly forming solutions to return systems to proper operation.
The main skill that I was able to hone was my communication skills, as I had to spend more time on doing as a chat support specialist with the client. My one year of experience in this field have hone my knowledge and skills and helped dozens of clients in over three different continents.
On average I've been able to do troubleshooting with our customers queries and increase their engagements in reaching out to our customer services for any concerns or clarifications.
Furthermore, I went on to transfer a new field of work that is in line with my profession as a Nurse. I work as a Medical coder, where my task is responsible for coordinating the execution and continued quality of the client’s process, performs assigned duties including
administrative tasks applicable such as telephonic on-line authorization of routine services, contacting specialty care providers, monitoring patient eligibility, and performing on-line data entry of routine authorizations/denials.
In this line of business I was was able to effectively and efficiently adhere to the work processes standards and role specification. Comply to company policies and procedure, and have effectively work as a team player.
