I have worked in the BPO or call center industry for almost 4 years. The first account that I handled was billing for SPRINT, and I also used to work as a travel agent for Cheaptickets.com and Orbitz.com accounts wherein I book flights, hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages. I have dealt with Sales as well for SEARS Canada and I have experienced being a Technical Support Associate for Xfinity/Comcast account and it was a non-voice chat support with sales as the highest metric. I also had an experience being a trainer for Solar Panel Account which is an outbound sales account. I am skilled at balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines, which prevents me from feeling stressed often. And I react to situations, rather than to stress. That way, the situation is handled and doesn't become stressful. I focus on the task at hand, and I just stay motivated and productive. I also find it exhilarating to be in a dynamic environment where the pressure is on. I am the kind of person who stays calm under pressure, and handles stress fairly easily. One key also is maintaining a calm demeanor no matter what happens. Staying calm demonstrates that you have the ability to take things in stride and complete your tasks even in the face of difficult circumstances. I believe that part of my job as an employee is to protect my employer, so I believe that assessing the situation and taking care of issues right away demonstrates that you can think clearly under pressure. Lastly, if I am stressed out, I will still carry on with my responsibilities, no matter what is going on, because consciously bringing my mind back to my current action in completing my important tasks will help me let go of worrying and other stress. I believe that my strong will and determination and also my customer service experience and education will make me a very competitive and efficient candidate/employee and will become an asset to the company.
