I began my career as a Junior Service Desk Analyst, where I honed my skills in ticket issue tracking, incident management, and ensuring timely system escalations. This role provided a solid foundation in delivering excellent customer service while effectively resolving technical challenges.
Due to my dedication and passion for technology, I was promoted to Client Services, also known as a Desktop Engineer. In this role, I gained extensive experience in software troubleshooting, software installation, user account management, and hardware installation in both Windows and Linux environments. I took the initiative to expand my knowledge by learning RHEL systems and basic bash scripting, allowing me to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Recognizing my dedication and technical aptitude, I was further promoted to the position of NOC Engineer. In this critical role, I was responsible for monitoring network traffic for all corporate applications and websites, ensuring optimal performance and availability. I diligently monitored the health of various systems, including APIs, servers, and cloud systems, by proactively assessing memory usage, disk utilization, network traffic, and server uptime. By identifying and resolving potential issues before they impacted operations, I contributed to maintaining a highly reliable and efficient IT infrastructure.
My role as a NOC Engineer also allowed me to delve deeper into Linux administration. I pursued further education in Linux systems and became a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCSA). This certification has strengthened my capabilities in managing and securing Linux environments, enabling me to handle complex administrative tasks with confidence and precision.
