About

Over the years, I’ve built a career as a remote worker where adaptability, communication, and problem-solving have been at the center of everything I do. I started out supporting people in technical environments and gradually expanded into customer support, backend development, and everyday business tasks that keep operations running smoothly. Working from home has allowed me to sharpen my ability to stay disciplined, self-motivated, and focused while managing different responsibilities.

A big part of my experience comes from volunteering with Mercatura School of Technology, where I acted as the first point of contact for prospective students. I handled inquiries through chat, email, and phone, guided new students through onboarding, and resolved account issues. That role taught me the importance of being patient, clear, and empathetic when dealing with people who may be stressed or confused. It also gave me the confidence to lead group orientations and training sessions remotely, something I never imagined I’d enjoy as much as I do.

Outside of support roles, I’ve worked as a backend developer, collaborating with small businesses to build and maintain applications. Those projects required technical troubleshooting, problem analysis, and the ability to explain solutions in simple terms to clients who weren’t always familiar with technology. That mix of tech and communication skills has become one of my strongest assets.

In addition to customer-facing and technical work, I’ve taken on plenty of data entry and administrative tasks that are just as important. I’m comfortable with Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and I can type quickly and accurately (50+ WPM). I’ve also done translation work in English, French, and Spanish at a conversational level, which comes in handy for international projects. Whether it’s preparing documents, creating reports, or entering data into systems, I take pride in getting the details right.

One thing that has shaped me as a remote worker is learning how to balance independence with teamwork. When you’re working from home, no one is looking over your shoulder—you have to be accountable to yourself. At the same time, staying available and communicating clearly with colleagues is just as important as meeting deadlines. I’ve built habits that keep me consistent: setting daily priorities, documenting my work, and always closing the loop when someone’s waiting on me.

Overall, I see myself as someone who bridges the gap between technical problem-solving and human connection. I can troubleshoot, build, and analyze, but I can also listen, explain, and support. That balance is what I bring to any team I work with, whether it’s in customer support, development, or day-to-day business operations.
