Also, please note: That I don’t have the number of “open” jobs that are specified on Upwork. Instead, I have a number of employers who just stopped communicating and giving me assignments to fulfill. This is even after I contacted them regarding the need to formally end their contracts. Furthermore, if I end these contracts myself, with “No feedback given” from the client, then Upwork will lower my “Job Success Rate”, thus making it far more difficult for me to get future assignments.

With that said, I have read your assignment offer and I believe that I’m the perfect candidate for your job because of my vast experience in writing for your specific genre and subject matter.

Regarding my background:

I am an American citizen. My wife is a Filipina. I am currently residing in the Philippines (after deciding on an early “working retirement” 10 years ago). I’m an experienced website, eBook, creative, technical, marketing, medical, legal and research writer with extensive SEO training.

As a professional writer in the U.S., it would not be unreasonable to charge more for a verifiable, proven level of competency. However, living in the Philippines allows me to charge much less than that.

In addition, I now work only those assignments that I feel a "connection" to. This helps to facilitate virtually flawless results.

Also, my U.S. Military experience was instrumental in providing me with a strong sense of discipline and I can effectively complete an assignment in a relatively short period of time.

Most importantly, since I’m a native U.S. English speaker/writer, my work doesn’t require corrections, in order to repair awkward foreign phrasing. I’m pointing this out, even though I do considerable business from clients who need me to repair previous work that they had assigned to other, less experienced, foreign “writers”.
