I have worked as both a professional and voluntary copywriter and editor, with experience in
publishing, formatting, brand formation/growth, SEO, and content creation. Additionally, I have
over six years experience in the hospitality sector, working in front of house, food preparation, and
supervisorial roles. In both the publishing/copywriting and hospitality sectors, I have been
required to handle administrative tasks: from managing funds to acquiring permits and managing
stock. I am capable, confident, and eager to absorb new skills when entering a new workplace. My
previous experiences working in the UK, US, and Belgium have led me to appreciate how essential
an adaptable, open-minded approach can be.
Work Experience
Content Producer/Editor Bizclik Media - Norwich - September 2017 to Present Writing features
and short form copy, exploring subjects from the development of AI startups in Amsterdam, to the
Saudi Arabian oil and gas industry. Responsible for writing, editing and commissioning content for
several online B2B publications focused on digital transformation, sustainability and the supply
chain management space. Conducted interviews via telephone and face to face with C-Level
executives at Blue Chip companies. Most recently took over management of the company's
technology publication, Gigabit Magazine, playing a leading role in the rebranding and
restructuring of the publication.
Copywriter ICS Digital - Norwich - January 2018 to May 2018 Writing copy with quick turnover, in
response to open-ended briefs from editors. Articles appear on Deliveroo's national food blog, and
on other sites as part of international link-building campaigns.
Editor, Writer Octarine Magazine Norwich - September 2015 to
February 2017
Co-founder and senior editor for a student-run literature and art publication. I edited submissions,
approved design and layout proposals, and organized promotional events. I worked with a great
team, with whom I am very close. Octarine was presented with the Best New Society Award by the
University of East Anglia in 2016.
Bartender/Cellar Staff The Plasterers Arms - Norwich - April 2018 to Present Bartender in a
craft ale pub requiring specialized and extensive knowledge of over thirty products in constant
rotation. Job also involves responsibilities relating to cellar management, stock rotation, and ale
care.
Bartender/Barista The Surrey - Norwich - March 2018 to June 2018 Part time work at an upscale
bar/cafe catering mainly to office workers. Job has provided coffee training and experience.
Bartender/Supervisor The Rumsey Wells - Norwich - June 2017 to January 2018 Bartender
(promoted to supervisor in August) and chef at a quirky craft ale pub with regular DJ and live
music events. I have learned to organize a beer cellar, both taking deliveries and rotating stock,
and curating a selection of local craft ales. I was regularly responsible for cashing up and handling
money for the business.
Chef/Front of House The Reindeer Pub and Kitchen - Norwich - June 2015 to November 2017
Operated a seasonal barbecue pop up over the summer months. Later I transitioned to a role as a
bartender and waiter in a pub specialising in craft ale and fine dining. Hugely expanded my
knowledge of craft beers and provided silver service to diners.

Set up and ran a Tapas pop up in the largest beer café in the centre of a busy student town.
Prepared a large variety of dishes from scratch, assembled platters and handled finances. I
worked long shifts and learned a great deal of autonomy and personal responsibility.

Working full-time as a professional musician, touring, recording, and networking across the West
Coast of the US, England, and the Low Countries. I also managed the band's social media and
