I'm a professional writer and editor working in digital publishing. Currently, my role is that of editor in chief of a technology magazine, but I also frequently cover news and write features focused on the fintech, supply chain and sustainable energy sectors. I arrange, write, edit and commission feature length articles focused on industry leading executives and exciting new startups. I am responsible for maintaining the magazine's online presence and managing the workloads of several staff writers and freelancers. The job has taught me a lot about working to deadlines, communicating within a team and turning out engaging, thoroughly-researched content targeted to a range of audiences. I have written in depth, interview-led features covering everything from the role of the Saudi Telecom Company's first female executive in the 2020 G20 summit, to the potential for drones to help solve the global food crisis.
Between 2015 and 2018, I attended the University of East Anglia, graduating with a first class BA in Literature with Creative writing. While attending the UEA, I was a founding member and Editor of Octarine, an award-winning literature and arts anthology that is still operating today. My fiction works were also published in the University's anthology publication in 2015 and 2016.
I'm an experienced traveler, have a 196 hour TEFL qualification, love Dungeons & Dragons, interviewed Sir Ben Kingsley once, and like to collect tropical plants.
