Payroll & Compensation Management:
Responsible for Pre-payroll process (Attendance input, Loans, Advances, Deductions, Performance allowance etc)
Responsible for complete Payroll processing & disbursement of Payroll for all locations.
Responsible for providing final Approvals for Salary, deductions, Travels, Transfers, Relocations, Training Costs and other Official Trips (Claims like TA &DA), Incentive calculations.
Maintaining & Tracking Attendance, Leaves, LOP for all employees (On-roll & Off-roll) as per policy.
Ensure the employees get their payroll queries/ grievance answered and solved on an individual basis.
Ensure timeliness and accurate payment of salaries for the respective locations.
Taking care of payroll related statutory like TDS, EPF, ESI, PT, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus and returns filling.
Annual preparation for Bonus/Ex-gratia payouts.
Managing complete employees' ELC (Employees Life Cycle) and personal documentation processes in the organization through payroll software.
Administering joining & on boarding, leave & attendance, discipline @ work, regulating employee statuses @ work, monthly payroll generation & disbursement, separations from work, compliances & HRIS.
Statutory Compliances:
Exposure to formalities prescribed in The Factories Act, Shops & Establishment Act, Plantations Labour Act, Equal Remunerations & Treatments, Industrial Disputes Act, Contract Labour Act, Payment of Wages & Bonus Acts, and all Employees Welfare Provisos – EPF, ESI, EDLI, etc.
Opening Temporary ESI Card for New Joiners as applicable under ESI Scheme, follow up with Issuing Permanent ESI Card.
Filling ESI monthly Challans & preparing ESI Half yearly return.
Filling PF monthly Challans & preparing PF Annual Return, LWF return.
Procedural compliances of filing periodic returns and forms as per prescribed Labour Statutes
Compliances to statutory audits, represented before the Authorities for hearings and 'show of records'
Preparation of check-list and holding periodic review meeting that ensures perfection on third-party obligations
Providing prompt & timely resolutions to employees about their grievances on statutory benefit related.
As per Shops and Establishment Act preparing & recording all documents.
Liaising with Government authorities of ESI, EPF, Labour Inspector, Contract Labour etc.
Preparing Professional Tax (P-Tax) statement, who comes under the P-Tax Scheme & As per that Segregating All Employees according to State wise P-Tax Slab and consolidating Final Statement & contribute the Return.
Monitor and verify adherence to terms of labour contract by monitoring day-to-day implementation of policies concerning wages, hours of work and working conditions.
Completing the Full & Final settlement process of the resigned employees as per the company policy.
Employees Provident Fund and GRATUITY settlements.
To create awareness in Divisional Managers about the Labour standards of the country and impart tips/ways to handle the situation
Statutory Compliance pertaining to various labour legislations
Facilitating smooth work culture & enforcing discipline
Regulation/Monitor of the Contract and outsourced Labour and ensure that the outsourced companies working in the company adhere to the applicable labour standards.
Monitoring on Labour welfare facilities, canteen facilities and toilet /washroom facilities.
Resolving employee Queries & settlement of the grievances, if any.
Recruitment:
Identifying Manpower requirement from all Divisional heads.
Sourcing CV’s from Different source (Like Consultancies, News Paper, Job Portals or Reference) and Conducting preliminary screening & taking initial interviews, Salary Negotiation etc.
Issuance of all letters related to offers made, appointment, confirmation & salary revision.
Ensuring the completion of joining formalities (Issue Offer Letter / Appointment Letter, collection of required documents from new joiner)
Organizing Induction program and Orientation to the employees towards policies and procedures of the company.
