You can call me Georgie, I already worked as a virtual assistant but that was with a company. Applying in your company as VA will be basically the same with what I used to do, the only difference now is that I will work from home, and will be able to manage my own time. But I am very flexible with the schedules, and I think that is one of the most important skill that a VA should posses, flexibility.
Working with clients virtually is not that easy, you have to gain their trusts and to do that, you have to do an exemplary job and make them satisfied on a day to day basis.
Here are something to look at about my skills and experiences:
With almost 13 years of experience in BPO, I already handled different tasks and roles such as:
• Customer Service - answering phone calls, assisting customers with their concerns and addressing issues, debtor collections, troubleshooting, billing and retention.
• Data Entry and General Admin - entering data and numbers, entering bills and charges, emailing, phone calls, etc.
• Accounting - charges, billing and payroll, processing payments, and also used Quickbooks.
• Lead Generation - appointment setting, outbound sales and cold calling, coaching agents on how to sell over the phone effectively and efficiently.
• Virtual Assistant - attends to client's emails, check their calendars, manage meetings, book flights and appointments, call their customers and address issues. Basically do their job and make it easier for them, and if possible, help them increase their profits.
• Asst. Operations Manager – handling almost 200 employees, making sure that they are always on top of their tasks. Also assisting supervisors, coaching them to be a better leaders. Providing leadership training and how to help their agents to excel in everything they do, both professional and personal.
With these experiences, I was able to develop good communication skills, leadership skills, computer literacy with up to 60 words per minute typing skills, analytical skills, problem solving skills, the initiative to proactively address issues and concerns and good attention to detail.
