I’ve spent 6+ years in high pressure, high performance environments; initially as an international athlete, then a
head-coach of a high-performance training center. Skills gained in this domain have been built upon in the world
of IT where I have rapidly progressed to a .NET/full stack developer and certified Scrum Master. With multiple
years of software development experience, coaching and managing, I bring energy, enthusiasm, discipline, and
thoroughness to any role I am assigned to.
Due to the wide range of exposure to challenge in growth-conducive environments, I have an outstanding
skillset that makes me perform equally as well in people skill and communication related jobs, as I do in highly
technical, low level work. From years spent both managing and coaching in one domain, and separately
developing software to a high standard, my skillset allows me to take any kind of role, from a person
management position to a software developer, and execute it to an incredibly high standard.

PROFILE
FRONT END: JS, TS,
Jan ’22 - Present
Part of a 4-team platform development department for a SAAS product. Co-led the implementation of React to
replace Knockout-JS on the frontend. Delivered a variety of BLI’s, getting experience to tech such as: Teraform,
Kubernetes/Docker, C#, MVC, React, TS, AWS, Azure, Integration/Unit/E2E tests. The teams were left to be
completely self-managed so I gained experience running meetings, collaborating with stakeholders and seniors
and managing the team.

A very small tech department (<15), where I was often called upon to put on many ‘hats’ such as a BA, QA,
project lead, automation engineer, backend dev, frontend dev and scrum master. Though incredibly challenging,
I reveled in the challenges and opportunities to learn. I led the teams initial adoption of scrum and played a
large role in bringing on and training new developers to the team. I led on the implementation of Hangfire as
the background task management tech. I led and managed 4 developers on a .NET project to take our current
XAML-Windows application from an out-of-date platform to a brand-new cloud-based C# MVC solution. I led
and coached scrum for the team of experienced developers.

Kayak Coach/Head Coach-
Organized, managed and grew a group of 10+ coaches, with regular meetings and responsibility over some of
the UK’s highest-performance coaches. Coached 15+ high level national and international athletes. Developed
key skills; communication, organization, planning, cooperation, target setting (and attainment). Helped the club
to achieve a ‘talent club partner’ status (1 of only 5 in the UK) which then made me responsible for multiple
targets around growth, performance and attainment of the club. Innovated an athlete progression pathway
which is now recognized by the sports national governing body
International Athlete-
Developed an array of skills in high-pressure environments such as attention to detail, discipline, decision
making ability under pressure, and organization. Competed at a world-class level coming 11th in the world in
2019. Spent 2 years training with the world’s fastest kayaker (Liam Heath) in his build up to Tokyo 2020 where
he won his 4th Olympic medal.
