I am a dedicated Virtual Assistant and community enthusiast with a strong background in supporting diverse teams and projects. Since completing my Virtual Assistant training with ALX, I have specialized in providing high-quality administrative support, including inbox and calendar management, scheduling, internet research, presentation creation, project management, and travel planning. As a Red Cross volunteer and Equity Group Foundation alumni, I strive to blend professional rigor with a commitment to community impact. My experience and training have equipped me to streamline workflows, communicate effectively, and enhance productivity for individuals and teams.
Beyond administrative skills, I currently serve as the Chat Moderator for Kenya AICE Cohort 8 under ALX, helping to maintain an engaging and supportive learning environment. In this role, I oversee community interactions, manage space settings, moderate flagged content, and ensure conversations stay on-topic and respectful. This role allows me to contribute to a positive learning experience while strengthening my leadership and moderation skills. Volunteering as a mentor for ALX Pathways learners at the Karibu Ceremony has further developed my ability to connect and guide others.
Another passion of mine is baking. Since June 2024, I have been baking cakes at St Peter’s Cathedral in Nyeri, where I hold basic baking classes on Saturdays. This experience allows me to blend creativity with community engagement, and I enjoy teaching others and learning from fellow baking enthusiasts. Sharing the joy of baking with others and helping them master new skills is one of the most fulfilling parts of my week.
I am always eager to connect with like-minded professionals, collaborate on impactful projects, and engage in meaningful community service. My LinkedIn is a great place to connect or feel free to reach out if our interests align. Let us make a positive impact—one project or bake at a time.
