Erica Magni

I am a journalist, writer, poet, and cultural researcher, driven by curiosity about how words travel across territories, technologies, and communities. Over the past 18 years, I have worked in newspapers, television, radio, and digital platforms, in Brazil and internationally, including Barcelona, Florence, Rome, London, Berlin, and Reykjavík.

Author of Areia na Olhota (2023) and Maresia corrói os dentes (2025), I have contributed to anthologies and led projects such as Poérica (Flip 2019), Diário de Área (2021, with Yanomami Indigenous communities), and the human rights podcast Rádio-Carta Mulher (2022).

Currently, I facilitate creative writing workshops and hybrid performances, connecting art, narrative, and technology. As an AI Writing Teacher, I improve writing for humans and artificial intelligence systems, exploring new ways to invent and communicate. I live between Arraial do Cabo and Teresópolis, always searching for new territories for words.
