Elijah Rwothoromo

I have been working professionally as a Software Developer since October 2015 both on on-site and in distributed agile teams. Most of my work has been full-stack web app development in PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, Python, Flask and Android for mobile (Java/Kotlin).

I adapt to the technologies required on a project by project basis.

History

1. Software Engineer at Andela from Apr/2018 to Mar/2020. Worked remotely with Web and Mobile software development tools and technologies to build world-class applications. Primarily Python/Flask, React and Android (Kotlin, Java) projects.
2. Android Engineer at Bleacher Report from Jul/2019 to Nov/2019. Worked remotely for The Bleacher Report under Andela, on Social features for user engagement and retention on the Bleacher Report Android app.
3. Software Programmer at Innovation Streams Limited from Oct/2016 to Mar/2018. Developed features for Streamline, a health information system widely used by Administrators, all Medical personnel and Accountants at Kisiizi Hospital with unique functionality for each. Also developed features for Streamcredit, a finance management system adopted by five financial institutions.
4. Software Developer/Consultant at HRP Solutions Limited from Oct/2015 to Apr/2016. Developed/customised required Microsoft Dynamics NAV features. Trained Microsoft Dynamics NAV clients. Provided consultancy to clients both onsite and remotely.
